Why Use a Multicore Cable? Sound sources such as microphones, guitars, keyboards etc, can be connected to a mixer using individual cables. However, as the distance and/or number of sources increase, this quickly becomes impractical. The solution is to use a multicore cable which can carry many individual channels inside a single cable sheathe.
At the mixer end of the cable, flying lead connections (generally XLR or Jack) are provided. (Left) At the sound source (stage) end connectors are usually incorporated into a (stage) box. (Right)
Simplify set up and take down time, reduce frustration and avoid the need to hide surplus coils of cables.
As well as advantages in use, simplify transportation and storage and protect your investment in a multicore with a complete drum system and integrated flight case.
A number of standard - off the shelf configurations are available for purchase. We also have multicores available for hire.
You can obtain a custom cable by providing the following information:
Note: for durability, we would strongly recommend the use of Neutrik connectors
