Being a UK based retailer, all products purchased from us are supplied with UK (3-Pin) power plugs. Most products have UK plugs in the box, but should an order include items from manufacturers whose stock is supplied to the UK via Europe (eg. American DJ) we will supply EU to UK adaptors, or UK cables instead. This means any purchases will be ready to use, saving the trouble of trying to source adaptors once an order arrives.
At Knight Sound and Light, we are an Authorised Dealer for all products that we stock and sell, all our products come with a UK warranty. As a result, should a product purchased develop a fault in or out of warranty, high courier fees and extended delivery times for any returns are avoided.
It’s bad enough that your product develops a fault, so we try to make our returns or repair service as painless as possible.
If the fault with your product occurs within 30-days of purchase, we are authorised by selected manufacturers to replace the faulty product. We will inform you of this when you contact us. For this, the product must be in otherwise ''as new'' condition, complete with any accessories and free gifts offered and if possible, with the original box and packaging.
If the fault with your product occurs within its warranty period, normally 12 months from delivery, we will offer you a prompt repair service. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault. (See below for a list of brands and products with longer warranty periods.)
In most cases, we will request the faulty product is returned to us for inspection. However, for some products, we have arrangements in place for them to be returned for repair by the manufacturers’ own service teams of skilled and qualified engineers. If we refer you to such a repair centre when you call us, please be assured we are not fobbing you off. This is done in an effort to minimise the time period of any repairs being carried out. If you’re not happy with their service, we urge you to let us know.
You can either return the product to our Hanwell (W7) store or email email@example.com to arrange a return. Refunds for faulty goods include the applicable delivery charge and also your return postage. Replacement goods are sent by standard delivery.
Warranty does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. Consumable items, such as cartridges and stylus’ are covered by guarantee for 3 months after delivery.
In order to accept a Warranty claim we require a receipt to prove that the item is within applicable warranty period. If no receipt is available we are able to accept printed orders from our online webstore or any other documentation that details the purchase date and product details. Unfortunately we are unable to accept most bank and credit card statements as they do not provide this level of detail.
