AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6

The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 is an all-new 4-channel controller for rekordbox, rekordbox iOS and Serato DJ that inherits club-standard layout. A brand new "GROOVE REMIX" feature that allows you to freely manipulate drums parts and create new remixes.

It includes the new Groove Circuit feature (exclusive rekordbox feature) which DJs can use to easily remix drum parts and perform remixes on the fly. When used with Serato DJ Pro, the AlphaTheta DDJ- GRV6 can manipulate and separate Stems using the Stems FX feature.

The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 is the direct replacement to the DDJ FLX6GT and the first controller designed for the new rekordbox 7 software. It offers professional build quality and reliability, while also providing portability, and a familiar user interface based on the trusted industry standard layout.

Groove Circuit

With the Groove Circuit function, which is available in rekordbox, it’s easy to create remixes by simply pressing the dedicated buttons. This enables DJs to replace the drum parts of a track – even while it’s playing – with different drum loops, changing them into different genres and performing unique remixes effortlessly. And, by applying effects to the drum parts, it’s easy to create fills, build-ups, and breakdowns.

Groove Circuit features:

• Drum Swap - You can replace the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck, even when it’s playing, with different drum loops at the push of a button. To help you enjoy this feature as soon as you unbox the DDJ-GRV6, you can download a free pack of 40 loops in a variety of genres.
• Drum Roll/Trans - Easily create impromptu drum rolls, add fills to transitions, and build up tracks by applying the Roll or Trans effect to drum parts.
• Drum Release - Apply Release FX to drum parts to easily create breakdowns.
• Capture - Extract only the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck and capture them so you can drop them into another track later.

Layout based on the latest club-standard DJ gear

The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 features large jog wheels that are ideal for scratching, 8 Performance Pads which are positioned above the jogs – just as they are on the flagship CDJ-3000 multi player – and the Beat FX in the mixer section includes CH Select buttons from the DJM-A9. All this means DJs can play with a feeling similar to using club-standard equipment, and perform dynamically by combining expressive scratching with pad and effect techniques that are perfect for club sets.

Smart Rotary Selector and Discover Function

The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6’s new Smart Rotary Selector offers multi-directional control (up/down, left/right, rotate, and push) for easy navigation through media, playlists, and track lists when using rekordbox ver. 7 on Mac/Windows. The Discover button gives quick access to the Track Suggestion feature, available only on rekordbox for Mac/Windows.

Remix Performances with Stems FX in Serato DJ Pro

The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro, which includes a Stems FX feature. DJs can express themselves musically by applying effects such as Roll, Trans, Echo Out, and Delay to the separate Stems of a track – drums, bass, vocal, or melody. Applying the overlay sheet included with the AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 changes the button labels to Stems FX for ease of use.

Multi-device compatibility: DJ with your PC/Mac, mobile devices, and more

DJs can choose to use the AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 with not only rekordbox for Mac/Windows but also rekordbox for iOS/Android. You have freedom to DJ in your preferred style and in a variety of different settings.

Pioneer DJ DM-40D

The DM series speakers deliver balanced, punchy bass sound and they can pump out extra power thanks to the new Class D amplifier and 4-inch woofer in each unit. Flick the switch to change from DJ mode to Production mode and the DSP settings will automatically create the best sound for each application.

2-way sound mode – optimised for DJing and music production

There’s no need to decide whether you want a set of monitors that are best for DJing or making music, because the DM series speakers are perfect for both. Just flip the switch to choose either DJ mode or Production mode and the DSP settings will be optimised for the task, leaving you free to concentrate on your mix.

Easy to use with different DJ or production equipment

With RCA and mini jack terminals you can connect different kinds of gear such as DJ controllers and mixers, or the laptop or soundcard you use. Connecting your headphones is simple via the socket on the front panel and the level knob is right in front of you too.
