The Electrovoice EVOLVE 50 G2 pairs eight 3.5-inch neodymium drivers with a 12-inch subwoofer in a 1,500 W Class-D system. It reaches a maximum SPL of 129 dB, with 120° horizontal by 40° vertical coverage.
Its frequency response is 43 Hz–20 kHz, with a frequency range of 37 Hz–20 kHz at -10 dB.
Tool-free setup
The distance pole seats on a magnet and the column array locks into place by gravity. The components connect by hand without tools, with the signal routed internally. The distance pole and column array come prepackaged in a padded carrying bag.

What’s new in the Electrvoice EVOLVE 50 G2?
The Electrovoice EVOLVE 50 G2 keeps the original system’s core configuration: a 12-inch subwoofer, an eight-driver column, 120° × 40° coverage and the same published frequency response and -10 dB frequency range. The headline performance change is higher output: the amplifier rating increases from 1,000 W to 1,500 W, while maximum SPL rises from 127 dB to 129 dB.
More connectivity and control
The original EVOLVE 50 already offered QuickSmart App control over Bluetooth, along with QuickSmartDSP presets and EQ. The Evolve 50 G2 builds on this with extended Bluetooth range, more DSP options and enhanced effects. It also adds QuickSmart Link for stereo audio and control between compatible systems, and specifies switchable 48 V phantom power.
Updated for easier handling
The setup remains familiar: the pole seats on a magnet and the column locks into place by gravity, without tools. Electro-Voice describes the G2 as more portable and gives it redesigned handles on the subwoofer to make load-in and load-out easier.
